What Is a Firehose File?
Firehose File is a programmer or loader file of GSM third-party programs (QCfire/Miracle Box) that allows bypassing the secure boot of Qualcomm-based devices. The firehose file enables the host computer to send commands to write to the EMMC or UFS storage chips. And the GSM tools use firehose loader files to flash, unlock and break Qualcomm-based devices. Such as the Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro Qualcomm SDM636 Snapdragon 636 (14 nm).

Firehose files are also commonly known as programmer and loader files. A programmer prepares this file to upgrade the software of a particular device through a computer, this file we can also use manually in official flash tools, and professional (GSM ) programs and this file is known as a loader file in GSM programs/tools.

You can manually flash this file using the "EMMCDL" program file without the use of any professional tools. EMMCDL is a command-line utility that allows all kinds of manipulation in EDL format using the Sahara/Firehose protocol and the "programmer" file related to the device.
